Courtney Love Sued by Designer ‘Boudoir Queen’

LOS ANGELES (CN) - A fashion designer has filed a libel suit against singer Courtney Love for allegedly embarking on "an obsessive and delusional crusade to terrorize and destroy" her.

Dawn Simorangkir, who is also known at Dawn Younger-Smith and Boudoir Queen, claimed in a suit filed in Superior Court that she was guilty of nothing more than doing business with Love, who had approached her to design clothing.

The allegedly false statements by Love included accusations that Simorangkir was a drug dealer and user, had committed a series of crimes including theft, assault, prostitution and embezzlement, was an unfit parent, a racist and a homophobe.

According to the suit, Love first became angry with the plaintiff in Februrary after being billed for her work.

The complaint was filed by Bryan Freedman of Freedman & Taitelman.
