LOS ANGELES (CN) - A clothing store claims Lindsay Lohan has paid it only $180 of the $17,000 she owed for clothes, jewelry, and accessories. Church Boutique claims Lohan told it "not to worry about being paid" because she would have her business manager take care of it, but he never did, and the store says Lohan "had no intention" of having him do it.
The store's parent LLC, Tough as Nails, claims Lohan walked off with $17,060.83 worth of stuff and paid only $180 - leaving $16,880.63 owing.
The store claims that Lohan "had no intention of causing her business manager to pay the entire balance." It wants the bill paid, plus punitive damages for fraud.
Tough as Nails is represented by William Crockett with Dion-Kindem & Crockett of Woodland Hills.
