Brouhaha Erupts at a Chuck-E-Cheese

     CHICAGO (CN) - A Chuck-E-Cheese waitress stabbed a customer and threw a napkin dispenser at another, claiming one of them hadn't paid for the salad bar, the customers claim in court.
     LaNasia Randle and Aron Moten sued CEC Entertainment, owner-operator of a Chuck-E-Cheese restaurant on South Kedzie Avenue, in Cook County Court.
     Moten and waitress Shardonnae Pruitt "became involved in a loud verbal altercation regarding whether Aron Moten had paid for the salad bar at the restaurant" on Sept. 30, 2012, the complaint states. Pruitt is not a party to the complaint.
     It continues: "On September 30, 2012, Aron Moten asked to see the manager of the Chuck-E-Cheese's restaurant when the loud verbal altercation regarding the salad bar began to escalate.
     "On September 30, 2012, Aron Moten, Shardonnae Pruitt and the manager of the Chuck-E-Cheese's restaurant engaged in a conversation regarding the salad bar.
     "The manager of the Chuck-E-Cheese restaurant left Aron Moten and Shardonnae Pruitt after the conversation had ended.
     "The loud verbal altercation between Shardonnae Pruitt and Aron Moten further escalated, and Shardonnae Pruitt threw a napkin dispenser at Aron Moten.
     "Aron Moten returned to his table where LaNasia Randle was sitting.
     "Shardonnae Pruitt followed Aron Moten to the table where LaNasia Randle was sitting, continuing to yell and shout at Aron Moten.
     "Shardonnae Pruitt then engaged in a physical altercation with LaNasia Randle.
     "Shardonnae Pruitt cut LaNasia Randle with a knife three times."
     Security staff was on hand throughout but failed to restrain the furious waitress, the customer/plaintiffs say.
     They demand more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses and negligence.
