Comcast-NBCU Merger


     WASHINGTON - Comcast and NBC Universal must take additional steps to eliminate anticompetitive behavior over the next two years as they move forward with a controversial merger under the terms of final judgment just signed by a federal judge.

Terrorism

     WASHINGTON - Families who have waited 25 years to be compensated for the 1985 hijacking of an EgyptAir flight to Cairo will not have to wait any longer, a federal judge ruled, rejecting an attempt by Syria and other entities to stay judgment pending appeal. In a separate order, the judge entered a $10.5 million judgment for underwriters that insured the aircraft.
