     Bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman filed two lawsuits in Honolulu Circuit Court, claiming entertainment managers Boris Krutonog and Pivot Point Entertainment cheated him (in one case), and publicists Maureen Kedes Krutonog and Vertex Communications sold pejorative information to tabloids rather than promoting him.
     Carmel Films sued Blue Rider Finance in Los Angeles Superior Court in a dispute over financing of a movie called "Not Forgotten."

     A 40-year employee claims Qwest harassed and constructively fired her to retaliate for her truthful testimony about its discrimination against Hispanic employees, in Eugene, Ore., Federal Court.

     John Muir Medical Center killed James Holmes with an overdose of Pontocaine for an echocardiogram, his family claims in Contra Costa County Court, Calif.

     Bob Baker Toyota Scion is accused of cheating customers, in a class action in San Diego Superior Court.

     Shareholders demand $12.5 million in New Haven Federal Court in a complaint over United Natural Foods' merger with Millbrook Distribution Holdings.

Bankruptcy

     Dallas-based transportation firms Greatwide Logistics Services and 49 affiliates filed for bankruptcy in Delaware, listing more than $500 million in debts. Greatwide will be acquired by a group of its first-lien secured lenders, including of Centerbridge Capital Partners and D.E. Shaw.
     
     Metromedia Steakhouses filed for bankruptcy in Delaware, listing more than $100 million in debts.
